Guests including Armando Iannucci, Chris Morris, and Rob Brydon will attend the second ScreenLit festival.

Iannucci will be honored with the ScreenLit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Screenwriting. In the Loop star Peter Capaldi will interview Iannucci on April 26 after a screening of an episode of The Thick of It. Separately, Iannucci will read and discuss his new book The Audacity of Hype: Bewilderment, Sleaze and Other Tales of the 21st Century. The fest will also screen his Oscar-nominated In the Loop.

The event, to be held in Nottingham, UK from April 21-29, will open with Four Lions followed by a conversation with director Chris Morris and writers Jesse Armstron and Sam Bain. The festival will close on April 29 with Noah Baumbach’s Greenberg.

The festival’s other screenings include Women Without Men; A Room and a Half; The Milk of Sorrow; Bad Lietentant: Port of Call New Orleans; and the UK premiere of Michael Winterbottom’s The Killer Inside Me.

Themes this year include the relationships between stand-up and sitcoms in the UK and Nordic Noir.

Industry speakers will include Olivia Hetreed, BBC’s Paul Ashton, NFTS’ Rob Ritchie, EM Media’s Anna Seifert-Speck and Rocliffe’s Farah Abushwesha.
