Philippe Le Guay’s festival opener Service Entrance (Les Femmes Du 6e Etage) (pictured) won the audience award as the 15th Annual City Of Lights, City Of Angels (COL•COA) came to a close after record attendances.

Isabelle Partiot-Pieri’s Toscan The French Touch won the audience special prize while Jean Becker My Afternoons With Margueritte (La Tete En Friche) earned an audience special mention.

The LAFCA Critics Award went to Benoit Jacquot’s Deep In The Woods (Au Fond Des Bois), while special prize was awarded to Marc Fitoussi’s Copacabana and the special mention went to Cédric Klapisch’s My Piece Of The Pie (Ma Part Du Gateau).

The First Feature Award was presented to Monsieur Papa by Kad Merad and the Short Film Award went to Stephane Demoustier’s Weekend.

The Short Film Special Prize went to Howl Of A Fish (Hurlement D’un Poisson) by Sebastien Carfora as Vincent Mariette’s Man’s Best Friend (Le Meilleur Ami De L’homme) earned a special mention. The Short Film Audience award was presented to The Piano Tuner (L’Accordeur) by Olivier Treiner.

The annual event is staged by the Franco-American Cultural Fund (FACF) and ran in Los Angeles from Apr 11-18.
