In its 15th year the Philadelphia International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival has been rebranded the Philadelphia QFest as organisers announced other changes ahead of the July 9-20 event.
QFest is also expanding its venues roster and will screen films in the Old City at the Ritz East theatres as well as the festival’s traditional home at The Prince Music Theater.
The opening night party will return to Hamilton Hall at the University Of The Arts while the closing night celebration will take place for the first time on the 33rd floor of the Loews Philadelphia Hotel.
Philadelphia Cinema Alliance, a new member supported not-for-profit organisation, is producing Philadelphia QFest as well as Philadelphia CineFest. For additional information visit the official festival website at www.QFest.com
