The news from AFM follows the announcement earlier this week of the Eastern European deal with Media Pro.

Aurum Producciones is the Alliance Films subsidiary and gets exclusive rights for three years to all Summit Entertainment films.

The arrangement covers films produced by Summit through October 2014 and includes Louis Leterrier’s heist project Now You See Me and the Highlander adventure.

“I look forward to expanding our partnership with Aurum through this deal,” Summit International president David Garrett said. “They have achieved great success with Summit’s films in Spain and we are certain this will continue with the three year deal we embark on today.”

“We already enjoy a great working relationship with Summit Entertainment so this deal is a natural step for us,” Aurum  MD Jorge Vazquez said. “With their exciting mix of projects we look forward to a fruitful venture that further cements our position as Spain’s leading independent distributor.”
