The Asian Film Awards (AFAs) will present Donnie Yen with the Outstanding Asian Actor award and Carina Lau with the Outstanding Asian Actress award at a ceremony held on the eve of Filmart.
The two actors will receive the awards in person at a ceremony co-hosted by the AFAs and Moet & Chandon on March 23.
The AFAs will also present Rising Star of Asia awards to Japanese actress Chiaki Kuriyama and Korean actor Kim Nam Gil.
The awards are being organised for the first time this year by the Asian Film Awards Academy (AFAA) and its partners the Busan International Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival Society and Tokyo International Film Festival. The main ceremony will be held on March 27 in Macau.
