Felice Bee has quit has her position as director of international sales and co-productions at Beijing-based Huayi Brothers Media, effective October 15.

Bee said in an email to friends and colleagues: “It has been both a great personal and professional experience working with Huayi in the past four and half years. I have had the pleasure of making many new friends during this time, and I will truly miss everyone. Hopefully our paths will cross again in the near future.”

Over the past few years, Bee has handled sales on Huayi productions such as Feng Xiaogang’s If You Are The One and Aftershock and Tsui Hark’s Detective Dee And The Mystery Of The Phantom Flame, which recently played at Venice.

She began her career at Sony in her native Taiwan where she worked on the marketing of films such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Bee didn’t indicate her next move. Her colleagues Leslie Chen and Lana Peng will take over her sales duties in the interim.
