Korean production Marine Boy has wrapped a five-day shoot at Bigfoot Studios' recently completed underwater shooting tank in Cebu, the Philippines.

The film about drug trafficking on the open seas, is directed by Yoon Jong-suk and stars Kim Gang-woo (Le Grand Chef) and Park Shi-yeon. It is also shooting in Seoul and Busan.

The five-day shoot in the Philippines involved underwater sequences at Bigfoot's 640 cubic metre tank, as well as sequences in the seas and beaches around Cebu. The finale was a massive explosion at the underwater studio.

Korean production services company Vim Film, which specialises in helpingfilms shoot in foreign countries and has offices in Korea, Hong Kong and Australia, facilitated the shoot. The production team included four Vim Film producers, 24 Korean producers, actors and technicians, and 30 local Filipino crew.
