Lions Gate FilmsInternational has picked up worldwide rights excluding the UK, France and NorthAmerica to UK-Irish horror movie Isolation which is being directed byfirst-timer Billy O'Brien.

Produced by The Bureau inassociation with Blue Orange Films and Element Films, Isolation stars JohnLynch, Ruth Negga and Sean Harris in the story of five people caught up in aterrifying experiment one bleak winter on an isolated farm in rural Ireland.

The film follows a cattlefarmer who has agreed to some simple pregnancy tests for his herd by a privatebiotech laboratory which are not as simple as they seem. Film Four, the IrishFilm Board, TV3 and Lions Gate Films International financed the film which isbeing presold here.

Redbus prebought theatricaland video rights in the UK, while French rights are retained by The Bureau.Producers on the film are Ruth Kenley-Letts, Bertrand Faivre and Ed Guiney.

The film joins a cannon ofhorror titles represented by Lions Gate including Cabin Fever, Saw andthe upcoming J-Horror series.
