Hong Kong property giant Hopewell Holdings unveiled details of its planned Kowloon Bay multiplex at a launch party last night.
Located at the Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre (KITEC), the E-Max Cineplex, will house nine screens with 1,333 seats. The developers are also planning a separate 2,000-seat Star Hall aimed at awards ceremonies and film premieres.
The nine screens will include a Grand Premiere House, three standard screens, three VIP screens and two smaller “Culture Houses”, aimed at arthouse films. The site is expected to open early 2014.
