The Provincetown International Film Festival, celebrating its tenth year at this year's event (June 18-22), has announced that Quentin Tarantino will be the recipient of this year's Filmmaker On The Edge Award.
The announcement was made by film festival executive director Gabby Hanna, artistic director Connie White and director of programming Andrew Peterson.
The event, which takes place in the Massachusetts coastal town, will also highlight the nine previous honourees throughout the week - John Waters, Christine Vachon, Ted Hope, James Schamus, Gus Van Sant, Todd Haynes, Jim Jarmusch, Mary Harron, Gregg Araki and Todd Solondz. All have been invited to attend.
