The UK MEDIA Desk, withsupport from the UK Film Council and the EU's MEDIA Programme, is organising aco-production forum to be held during the London Film Festival. The one-daysummit, entitled Co-production Express, will be held October 25.

The programme will offercase studies of recent UK-European co-productions Dear Wendy, Only Human,Merry Christmas, The Best Man, and TheHeadsman. Organizers said they aimto show the differences in European co-productions in different areas ofEurope.

Speakers will include Peter Aalbaek Jensen of Denmark's Zentropa, Philip Boeffardfrom France's Nord Ouest, Jens Muerer from Germany's Egoli Tossell, Neil Peplowfrom The Works (UK), Mariela Besuievsky from Spain's Tornasol, Jan-JacobLouseberg from the UK Film Council, and Ildiko Kemeny from The HungarianConnection.

The programmewill end with European producers talking about the strengths and weaknesses ofthe UK as a co-production partner.
