Swedish major Svensk Filmindustri (SF) has concluded athree-year co-operation agreement with New York based film outfit This is That.

Accordingto the agreement, SF gets the rights to distribute all This is That'sproductions on cinema, video and television throughout the Nordic region.

This is That was founded in 2002 by Good Machine founder TedHope and producers Anthony Bregman and Anne Carey. Since then the company hasproduced critically acclaimed independent films like 21 Grams, EternalSunshine of the Spotless Mind and American Splendor.

"We look forward to a long and substantial co-operation withThis is That,"

said Rasmus Ramstad, managing director of SvenskFilmindustri. "The co- operation can also generate possibilities for filmmakers from the Nordic countries to take part in American productions," hesaid.

At present, SF has co-operation agreements with a number ofother American film companies, including New Line Cinema and RevolutionStudios. SF also buys films from other international film companies for Nordicdistribution and is involved in local film production in the Nordic region.
