UK-based film distributionservices company Arts Alliance Media (AAM), has signed deals to provide its Newman cinema management system tofour new cinemas.

The Renoir, Chelsea Cinemaand Richmond Filmhouse (all part of the Curzon group) and the Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley willall use the Newman solution, which manages businesses including booking, onlinemarketing and ticketing.

Curzon already had a deal with AAM for five Curzon screens, and is adding thesethree cinemas after Curzon acquired them fromArtificial Eye earlier this year.

Karen Marshall, managingdirectors of Curzon Cinemas, said: "We have alreadyseen the advantages of using Newman in our Soho and Mayfair locations, and look forward to having our threenewest sites benefit from increased customer profitability and streamlinedoperations."

AAM said it is in talks with several other independentcinemas to provide Newman.
