Australia's Beyond Films is expected to appoint Hilary Davis of UK based Alibi Films International to oversee international sales.

Davis will replace former Beyond sales chief Gary Hamilton who left the company earlier this year to launch his own business, Arclight Films.

Davis's departure means that both co-founders have now left Alibi's sales operation after Gareth Jones split from the company last July.

Roger Holmes, chief executive of the sales agent's parent group Alibi Communications, said that Davis was working for Alibi "at Cannes and continuing" but declined further comment.

London-based Alibi has recently been working in Australia on The Hard Word, starring Guy Pearce. The company sold the crime drama about bank robbing brothers to Lions Gate Films for North America in the run-up to Cannes.

Beyond said "a slight restructuring" was on the cards for June but declined to provide further details.
