Woody Allen is travelling to London to direct his next, asyet untitled, feature film.

Based out of Ealing Studios, Allen will reportedly startshooting on July 12 for seven weeks in London.

Allen rarely shoots his films outside the US, and it isthought to be the first time that he has come to the UK to direct a film.

Allen has, however, worked on many occasions with top UKacting talent, including Michael Caine and Hugh Grant.

The plot is being kept under wraps, and casting is expectedto be announced shortly.

Producersinclude Letty Aronson, and the production company is reportedly JadaProductions.

Woody Allen's last film, Melinda And Melinda, wrappedshooting late last year and is expected to hit theatres later in 2004. WillFerrell stars alongside Amanda Peet, Vinessa Shaw, Josh Brolin, Steve Carrell,Radha Mitchell, Chloë Sevigny, and Wallace Shawn.

The prolific director's Anything Else, whichpremiered at Venice in 2003, is set to be released in the UK in late Julyby Optimum Releasing. The distributor acquired the film from Capitol Films in ajoint acquisition deal with MGM Home Entertainment. Anything Else starsJason Biggs and Christina Ricci.

His previous feature Hollywood Ending, whichpremiered in Cannes two years ago, is yet to surface in the UK and Curse OfThe Jade Scorpion took many months to reach British shores.
