Fox's Night At The Museum refuses to be beaten as it climbs back up to the top spot, generating over $14m in its eighth week despite being dropped from four territories. Oscar contender Blood Diamond did not trail far behind, raking in $13.1m in its sixth week as it opens in an additional 11 territories. New entry Hannibal Rising fared well internationally, despite its absence of notable stars - the fourth instalment grossed $11m from 12 territories. And romantic comedy Music And Lyrics was a hit with lovers across the UK - the Warner Bros film generated $3.7m in its opening weekend in the territory. This week also saw boosts in studio films - Charlotte's Web catapulted up 589% and took $6.3m internationally, after a strong $3.6m UK opening, while Epic Movie was up by 151% after grossing $1.3m in the UK. The Holiday also went up 163%, generating $1.9m in its opening weekend in Italy.
