Number 9 Films and FilmFour have planned an autumn shoot for Anand Tucker's And When Did You LastSee Your Father' Tucker's schedule is free this autumn as he's no longer atthe helm of New Line's The GoldenCompass.

Starter For Ten author David Nicholls adapted the Father screenplay from Blake Morrison'sbestseller. Morrison's memoir is about a son's conflicting memories of hisfather.

Jim Broadbent and ColinFirth are set to star. Number 9's Elizabeth Karlsenwill produce with Stephen Woolley.

The project has beendeveloped through the UK Film Council's slate funding initiative. Intandem Films will handle international sales for And When Did You Last See Your Father'

"This film joins a very strong slateof FilmFour literary adaptations including amongstothers Brick Laneand The Last King of Scotland," said Channel 4's head of film anddrama Tessa Ross. "It is fantastic to be reunited with director Anand Tucker, Jim Broadbent and Colin Firth who look set tomake this moving novel into a compelling film."

Number 9's Mrs Harris, made with Killer Films forHBO, recently received 12 Emmy nominations.

Number 9 and Killer are alsoteaming for Julian Schnabel's The LonelyDoll, written by Caroline Thompson and also developed with the UK FilmCouncil's slate funding.
