Arthouse Films has struck an exclusive output and distribution deal for the UK & Ireland with Revolver Entertainment.

Revolver will handle all rights to Arthouse titles in those territories and also launch the label in the UK and Ireland.

The multi-year deal covers more than 10 titles per year. The initial slate includes Black White + Gray: A Portrait of Sam Wagstaff and Robbert Mapplethorpe; A Walk Into The Sea: Danny Williams & The Andy Warhol Factory; Alice Neel; The Cool School - Tory Of the Ferus Art Gallery; Next: A Primer In Urban Painting; Peter Beard: Scrapbooks from Africa; Jean Michel Basquiat; Harry Smith's Old Weird America; Lockdown USA and other titles.

The deal was negotiated by David Koh and Lilly Bright on behalf of Arthouse Films and Curiously Bright Entertainment and Stanley Buchthal of LM Media, along with Revolver's Justin Marciano, Nick Taussig, and Nick Savva.

Arthouse recently struck a number of other output deals with Madman in Australia/New Zealand/South Africa, Mongrel Media in Canada, and Arts Alliance America for US DVD releases.
