Artificial Eye has acquired all UK rights to Joanna Hogg’s drama Archipelago from Wild Horses Film Company.

Archipelago, Hogg’s second feature after drama Unrelated, which won the FIPRESCI Prize at the London Film Festival in 2007, stars Tom Hiddleston, Katy Fahy and Lydia Leonard in a story of a family in emotional crisis.

Producer Gayle Griffiths, from Wild Horses Film Company, stated: “Archipelago and Artificial Eye are the perfect match for each other. Joanna and I are thrilled to be in business with them.”

Louisa Dent, managing director, Artificial Eye said: “Archipelago confirms Joanna Hogg’s status as one of the UK’s most talented and subtle filmmakers at work today. Artificial Eye is very proud to be working on this truly remarkable film.”
