The Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) is expanding its Kid's Film Workshop during the fourth annual event this year (Dec 6-13) and will partner with schools throughout Nassau to bring the workshops directly into the classroom.

The programme is being sponsored by The Royal Bank Of Canada (RBC) in Nassau as well as The British Colonial Hilton which is hosting the weekend workshops prior to the school instalments on Dec 9 and 10.

'The Bahamas International Film Festival is committed to encouraging Bahamians to express themselves through film,' said BIFF founder and executive director, Leslie Vanderpool. 'The overwhelming response and success of last year's Kid's Film Workshop showed us that students are excited by the filmmaking process and some dream of breaking into the film industry. BIFF plans to provide every opportunity and platform to make those dreams a reality.'
