Thomas Arslan, Anna Bruggemann and Gian-Piero Ringel comprise the jury for first edition.
For its 2012 edition, the Berlinale is launching the “Made in Germany - Perspektive Fellowship”.
The $20,000 (€15,000) fellowship will go to a German filmmaker from the Perspektive Deutsches Kino strand as a contribution to the development of their film.
A three-member jury, consisting of Thomas Arslan, Anna Bruggemann and Gian-Piero Ringel, will decide who will receive the fellowship.
The award is funded by Glashütte Original.
“Again it is a matter of sustainability: we need to tap talent and provide support for follow-up projects. Fortunately, we will now be able to make this possible with Glashütte Original,” Festival Director Dieter Kosslick commented.
