Marc Bonduel, formerly CEO of France Television Distribution/President Films, has joined Pathe, where he will head both the French film distribution arm Pathe Distribution and international sales outfit Pathe International.

Bonduel, 45, a former CEO of Warner Home Video in France who has headed public broadcaster France Television 's film and television sales arm since 1991, takes over Pathe Distribution from Richard Pezet.

Pezet, who formed Pathe Distribution (then known as Amlf) together with Claude Berri and Christian Fechner in 1973, has been appointed to the newly created post of CEO of Pathe's film production activities in France.

The double appointment signals a re-structuring and strengthening of Pathe's film production, distribution and foreign sales activities, with the creation of two clearly separated divisions in France: film distribution and foreign sales, under Bonduel, on one side, and French film production, headed by Pezet, on the other.

International film production activities are headed by London-based Francois Ivernel.
