Spanish film Queens(Reinas), Warner Bros' Pictures first 100% Spanish production, has sold toa raft of European territories while the film is still in post-production.

International sales handler Fortissimo Films has closeddeals to France (ARP), Portugal (Lusomundo), Greece (Prooptiki), Israel(Orlando Films) and Hungary (Mas Kepp Foundation).

An offer is on the table for Scandinavia, while Warner Brosretained rights in Spain and Lucky Red will distribute in Italy.

The pre-sales are a feat for a Spanish film, but the Euros4.5m Queens has several elementsgoing for it beyond being backed by Warner and sold by Fortissimo. TheSpanish-language comedy turning on the first gay wedding in Spain stars anextensive ensemble cast headlined by veterans Marisa Paredes (All About My Mother) and Carmen Maura (Valentin).

Behind-the-camera talents are equally popular, includingdirector Manuel Gomez Pereira and scriptwriters Joaquin Oristrell and YolandaGarcia Serrano.

Warner Bros, which wrapped shooting in Madrid on October 16,is looking to an April 1, 2005 release date in Spain.
