Becker International has closed several deals for Anton Corbijn's hot Director's Fortnight opener Control. The new territories sold are Japan (Style Jam), Scandinavia (Atlanta), Brazil (Daylight), Poland (Gutek), Croatia (Continental Films), and Russia (Maywin Media).
US negotiations are ongoing.
The existing distributors already in place for the Ian Curtis biopic are the UK (Momentum), France (La Fabrique de Films), Benelux (Paradiso), Portugal (LNK), Greece (Art Free) and Australia/New Zealand (Dendy).
'We are currently fielding offers in the remaning territories ahead of today's market screening,' said Becker's head of sales Iain Canning.
Many buyers were shut out of the official screenings of Control, but there is a final market screening today at 4 pm at Star.
