Byrne and O'Reilly joinIrish Film Board

The Irish Film Board hasappointed Mark Byrne as its business & legal executive.

Byrne has worked as anentertainment lawyer for the past three years and also acted on co-producer forfeature film Middletown. Byrne's role willinclude negotiating with producers and co-financiers, and acting as a liaisonwith lawyers as well as officials of government departments.

Also, NiamhO'Reilly has joined the film board as executive assistant. She had been workingin entertainment and events management for several years, and had been workingat the Irish Film board on a temporary basis. She will now work with the entireagency as well as working closely with the Irish Film Board's new CEO, SimonPerry.
