The 26thCambridge Film Festival saw more than 14,500 admissions, a new festival record,during its run from July 6-16. The event hosted 225 screenings and events.

Audience awards went toPedro Almodovar's Volver and Mike Flores's short Waiting/Hoping. The young person's jurywinner was 14-year-old Melinda Barber from Parkside Community College.

The festival hosted 56 UK premieres and welcomed guests including TerryGilliam, Michael Winterbottom, Steve Coogan, Luc Besson, Mike Figgis, Ali Smith, Ammar Saad and Monika Treut.
