Bon Appetit Magazine has signed on as the official food and entertaining magazine of The American Pavilion at Cannes this year as well as taking the title of exclusive sponsor of the Pavilion's Culinary programme.
Bon Appetit will showcase the talents of three attending chefs at the Pavilion - Mari Batali, Bobby Flay and Rocco Dispirito. Batali is famous in the US for his TV shows Molto Mario and Mario Eats Italy and his three New York restaurants Babbo, Lupa and Esca. Flay, famous for his New York restaurants Mesa Grill and Bolo, is another TV celebrity chef with his series Hot Off The Grill and FoodNation. DiSpirito has appeared on TV Food Network's Melting Pot and is reknowned for is New York restaurant Union Pacific.
The three chefs will collaborate on the daily menus, share their own specialties, and offer their expertise at Pavilion-hosted entertainment. The chefs will also mentors 15 students selected from top culinary schools throughout the United States who participate in the Pavilion's culinary internship programme.
