EXCLUSIVE: In a timely move following the Chopard jewellery theft on Thursday, Paris-based sales company Other Angle has released first images of Eric Barbier’s heist tale with a twist The Last Diamond starring Yvan Attal and Bérénice Bejo.

The picture is in the final days of shooting around the diamond district of Antwerp.

Taking a break from the set, Bejo was in Cannes on Friday for the premiere of Asghar Farhadi’s The Past.

Other Angle’s Olivier Abou describes The Last Diamond as a thriller love story inspired by the legendary lost Florentine Diamond - a 137 carats gem, first documented in Renaissance times, which went missing in 1918.

The film is produced by French Vertigo Productions.
