Picture is second installment of van Geffen’s Vinex Trilogy revolving around the theme of the happy family.

Dutch director Marco van Geffen’s upcoming feature project In Your Name has won the €6,000 Arte prize for the best project at the Cannes Atelier co-production meeting.

The picture - produced by Lemming Film with the support of the Netherlands Film Fund and German Unafilm, French KinoElektron and Belgian A Private View as co-producers — was selected out of 15 projects presented at the co-production event this year.

In Your Name follows a Dutch couple whose attempts to build a life in a new town in the Netherlands are derailed following the death of their firstborn baby from a rare disease.

Cinéart has picked up Benelux rights for the film due to hit cinemas in spring 2013.

The film is the second part of what Marco van Geffen calls his Vinex Trilogy, revolving around the theme of the happy family.

Part one, Among Us, had its world première at the International Film Festival of Locarno 2011, and won two prizes. The North American première was at the Toronto International Film Festival 2011 and the Asian première will be in Hong Kong (Hong Kong International Film Festival) by the end of this month.
