The UK-based production company is also working on an adaptation of The Night Climbers with Marek Losey.

Paul Raphael’s UK-based Starfield Productions has attached Marek Losey to director The Night Climbers, adapted from the Ivo Sourton novel. It will feature both music and an original score by Faithless. The novel has been adapted for the big screen by Frederic Raphael (Eyes Wide Shut) and Stephen Raphael.

Meanwhile, Six Suspects, Starfield’s adaptation of the novel by Vikas Swarup, is being developed with BBC Films and is likely to shoot next year.

Raphael is also preparing The Philosopher And The Wolf based on the true story of Mark Rowlands, a young British philosophy professor who spent a year living and travelling with a wolf.

Starfield is also working with Ben Hopkins (The Market) on two projects. Hopkins will write and direct A Miracle, about a despairing London schoolteacher who ends up in a small village on the Turkish-Georgian border; and he is also co-writing the screenplay for the Omid & Georges project, a comedy to be directed by Philippe Arcatingi featuring actors Geogre Khabbaz and Omid Djalili (pictured).
