London-basedCapitol Films is handling worldwide sales for Paddy Breathnach'sShrooms, set to start shooting this spring.

MichaelDouglas's son Cameron stars alongside Lindsey Haunand Jack Huston, nephew of Anjelica and grandson ofJohn.

Thehorror film is about five American college students camping in Ireland. Alone in the woods,they partake of magic mushrooms and see ghostly visions that may or may not bereal.

Breathnach, who previously made Man About Dog, Blow Dry, and I Went Down, isdirecting from a script by The MightyCelt writer Pearse Elliott. Paddy McDonald andRobert Walpole (who both also worked on TheMighty Celt) are producing, with Gail Egan (The Constant Gardener) executive producing.

Shrooms is financed by theIrish Film Board, the Northern Ireland Film and Television Commission, Nordisk Film, and Ingenious Media.

"Wesee no shortage of horror scripts across our desks, but Shrooms is the first projectsince Jeepers Creepers and Creep that has really excited us," saidCapitol MD Nick Hill, who negotiated the deal. "It's a great script with anextremely talented and experienced team behind it, whom we trust to deliver avery scary movie."
