Celestial Pictures is to release its first Blu-ray title with 1984 classic Behind The Yellow Line from the Shaw Brothers film library, starring the late Hong Kong superstar Leslie Cheung.

'We are planning to release more Shaw Brothers classics in in Blu-ray format to deliver the most advanced viewing experience to consumers as demand for high-definition content rises.

'We are also looking to expand our home entertainment product lines to our existing distribution channels,' said Terry Mak, executive vice president, distribution & TV networks of Celestial Pictures.

The April release will commemorate Cheung who died on April 1, 2003. The film features a stellar cast of Cheung along with Maggie Cheung and Anita Mui.
