Singaporean actor Chin Han has joined Mia Wasikowska, Henry Hopper and Ryo Case in the cast of Gus Van Sant’s next as-yet-untitled project, which is being produced by Imagine Entertainment and Columbia Pictures.

Scripted by Jason Lew, the film will tell a story of young love between a teenage boy and girl who share a preoccupation with mortality. Chin Han will play a doctor who treats the young girl in the film.

Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Bryce Dallas Howard will produce. Schuyler Fisk, Lusia Strus and Jane Adams round out the cast.

Chin Han previously had a role in The Dark Knight and appears in Roland Emmerich’s 2012, which is currently on global release. He is repped by Van Johnson at Untitled Entertainment and Andrew Ooi at Echelon Talent.
