Upscale French sales and production outfit The Co-Production Office has boarded Ulrich Seidel's, Jesus You Know, which last year won the best documentary award at Karlovy Vary.

The film takes a darkly comical look at five Austrians and their own, highly individualistic communion with God. Characters range from a student who tells Jesus his erotic fantasies, to the retired teacher who yearns for revenge and the housewife who complains to God about her husband's inability to choose the right TV programmes.

The Co-Production Office also continues to wrap up deals for last year's EFM hit Noi Albinoi in territories including as Portugal (LNK Video), Turkey (Bir Film) and Korea (With Films).

Deals have also been signed at this year's EFM for Kornel Mundruczo's Pleasant Days with Italy's La Strada. Another Italian distributor, Sharada acquired No Rest For The Brave by Alain Guiraudie and FilmFreak (Benelux) took Mercano The Martian, the Argentinian adult animation.
