Along with sales to The Weinstein Company on Nomad and Outlander,French sales and finance house Wild Bunch has secured a financial co-producerfor Michael Civetta's Coin Locker Babies in Japan'sComstock.

Comstock has come on board the surreal coming-of-agetale which stars Liv Tyler and was adapted in part by Sean Lennon, son of thelate Beatle John. Wild Bunch chief Vincent Maraval said interest was so high onthe project that at least 12 Japanese companies put in offers with Comstockcoughing up more than 50% of the budget. Babies is adapted fromthe best-seller by Ryu Murakami.

A co-production accord on MatthewMcConaughey and Penelope Cruz vehicle The Loophas been finalized with Spain's Tripictures and Italy's IIF.
