ContentFilm is on theacquisitions trail. The London and New York based company, which formallycompleted its takeover of Winchester Entertainment on Friday (March 26), hasconfirmed it is now looking to buy distribution companies and libraries.

"It's part of the general strategy of trying tobuild an integrated film company...it's definitely the intention to tryto build a company that has a strong asset base," Content's EdPressman told ScreenDaily.com

Personnel changes are expected to be announced shortly asare details of Content's British production plans. As was announced lastmonth, Content has £8.5 million in capital raised in a recent shareoffering. The company has also arranged a $20 million credit line with JPMorgan Chase in New York.

Britain's largest listed film company, Content - withits own production, sales and distribution arms - is also one of the fewvertically integrated UK films outfits.

The restructuring comes on the back of Content's 230print release of the Kevin Costner western, Open Range, in the UK. In the US, the Content-produced NeverDie Alone, starring DMX, has just beenreleased on 1200 prints.
