Copenhagen’s documentary festival CPH: DOX wrapped at the weekend with the main DOX: AWARD going to Michelangelo Frammartino’s acclaimed film Le Quattro Volte.

The eighth edition of the Danish festival, which ran November 4-14 – with offers pitching forms, market facilities and a respected competitive programme – attracted a strong international industry audience with its useful calendar position just before Amsterdam’s IDFA.

The winning films at CPH: DOX 2010 were:

DANISH: AWARD: Empire North and The Naked of St Petersburg (special mention to Fini)

AMNESTY: AWARD: Pink Saris

SOUND&VISION AWARD: Separado! (special mention to Backyard)

NEW VISION AWARD: In Freefall (special mention to Out)

POLITIKEN’S AUDIENCE AWARD: Lost Inside A Dream: The Story Of Mizz Lizzy
