Spanish sales outfit DeaPlaneta sold several of their leading titles at the Berlin film festival, including Irene Cardona's Spanish-Moroccan romantic comedy Un Novio Para Yasmina and Gracia Querejeta's award winning Seven Billiards Tables.

Cardona's comedy about marriages of convenience was sold to Daxar Multimedia for theatrical release in the Middle East and Horizon Films International for Turkey.

Seven Billiards Tables , Querejeta's moving drama about two women grieving the loss of loved ones, starring Maribel Verdu and which picked up the silver shell award at San Sebastian, was also sold to Horizon Films International for release in Turkey.

Horizon Film also picked up a clutch of romantic dramas from DeaPlaneta: Gabriel Velazquez' Amateurs, Jose Enrique March's Escuchando and A Gabriel and Jose Luis Guerin's En La Ciudad De Sylvia about a man who returns to a city to track down a woman he met six years earlier, which was also sold to Starlight Films for release in Japan.
