Deauville festival to welcome Lumet and Pollack

The festival, which showcasesAmerican independent film and acts as an autumn European launch pad for themajors, will this year pay homage to the 25th anniversary of theSundance Institute via a retrospective of films which have emerged from itsprogrammes.
