Veteran communications and political strategist Deborah Lincoln has been named to the newly created position of vice president, corporate communications, Europe, Warner Bros. Entertainment

Based in London, Lincoln will work closely with Susan Fleishman, Warner's executive vice president of corporate communications, territory managers and managing directors on corporate business issues, executive changes, legislation, regulation, litigation and controversial policies or practices.

She will also help formulate communication strategies for the company in Europe, with a focus on the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group.

Lincoln joins Warner Pearson Plc, where she had served as head of corporate communications and public affairs since November 2004.

Prior to that, she was special advisor to Patricia Hewitt, Secretary of State for Trade & Industry.
