Catherine Deneuve will star in Etienne Chatiliez's next film, an as-yet-untitled project produced by France's Telema and handled worldwide by TF1 International.

The film, which is to go before the camera in February 2001, is to be the French film-maker's fourth feature film, after the offbeat comedy Life Is A Long Quiet River (La Vie Est Un Long Fleuve Tranquille), Tatie Danielle and the hugely successful Happiness Is In The Field (Le Bonheur Est Dans Le Pre), which attracted five million admissions in 1995.

Deneuve, who features in high-budget fantasy tale Le Petit Poucet, currently in post-production, also plays the Queen Anne of France in Peter Hyams' adaptation of the Three Musketeers which has been shooting in France since August 2000.
