UK distributor Diffusion Pictures has taken all UK rights to Lars Von Trier's comedy The Boss Of It All.

The deal was struck with Trust Film Sales.

The film is about an actor hired to play the boss of an IT firm to negotiate with business partners.

Jono Stevens, one of Diffusion's founders, said: 'Lars Von Trier has always been on the Diffusion wish list. He is one of the most creative and exciting directors in the world and we feel privileged to be bringing his latest film to UK audiences.'

Diffusion is a new indie distributor set up to release five to six films per year. Other forthcoming releases include Joachim Trier's Reprise.
