Cohen Media Group has taken US rights to Lorraine Levy’s The Other Son (Le fils de l’Autre), starring Emmanuelle Devos and Pascal Elbe.

The deal was negotiated by Charles S Cohen, CEO of Cohen Media, and Raphael Berdugo, MD of Paris-based Cite Films.

Berdugo said: “I am delighted to begin collaboration with the Cohen Media Group team and especially with its guiding force, Charles Cohen. Mr. Cohen immediately appreciated the true quality of the script; in particular, its powerful human element. I am confidant that The Other Son is in the most competent hands for it to reach both a deserving and respectably large audience in the US.”

The story is about an Israeli teenager who discovers that he had been switched at birth.
