Momentum has picked up UK rights to writer-director Richard Raaphorst’s horror Frankenstein’s Army.

Currently shooting in Europe, Army is a co-production of MPI/Dark Sky Films, Los Angeles-based XYZ Films (The Raid) and Pellicola of Amsterdam.

The WWII-set horror charts the Russian army’s discovery of a secret Nazi lab where scientists are assembling supersoldiers with the help of Dr Viktor Frankenstein’s journal.

Nate Bolotin of XYZ Films and Robert Walak of Momentum negotiated the deal. MPI and XYZ are handling international sales.
