Go Digital has acquired US rights to Marc H Simon’s feature documentary Unraveled, about disgraced attorney and philanthropist Marc Dreier, and will be releasing the film day-and-date on VOD and in theatres this April.

The film, to which TV rights have been acquired by Showtime and CNBC, was produced by Simon, Matthew Makar of Elementary Films, Steven Cantor of Stick Figure Productions and Miranda Bailey of Ambush Entertainment.

Unraveled had its US premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival and also played at Hot Docs and IDFA, among other events.

Prominent Manhattan attorney Dreier was arrested for orchestrating a massive fraud scheme that netted hundreds of millions of dollars from hedge funds. Unraveled is set during Dreier’s house arrest in an upper East Side penthouse.
