EXCLUSIVE: The Australian teen horror is directed by Leigh Sheehan.

High Point Films has taken international rights to Eagle i Entertainment’s teen horror, 6 Plots, directed by Leigh Sheehan.

The film centres around a high school student who, after 6 of her friends wake up in coffin like boxes, must race against the clock to solve a deadly puzzle posed by a mysterious killer hidden behind a gruesome online smiley face called “Victor”.

John Chase (Mad Max, Dalkeith) is producing with Neil Jenkins as executive producer.

6 Plots introduces a brand new monster to horror fans, ‘Victor’, distinct from the likes of Jason, Freddy and Jigsaw by virtue of being virtual,” explains High Point’s Fitzgerald, adding, “His lair is the same online world inhabited by the teenagers he terrorises, feeding very effectively into the notion of a multi-platform franchise with strong sequel potential”.

6 Plots is set to have its domestic Australian release on September 13th, with Rialto distributing.

The film will have its market premiere in Cannes.
