IFC Midnight has acquired all US rights to thriller Replicas, which had its world premiere at the Tribeca festival in April.

Directed, as his first feature, by commercials and music video maker Jeremy Power Regimbal, the film stars Selma Blair, Joshua Close, James D’Arcy and Rachel Miner. The script, co-written by cast member Close, was based on a story from Regimbal and producer Justin Tyler Close about a family that escapes its suburban life to spend time in an isolated country home. .

Regimbal and Close also produced and Tina Pehme, Kim C Roberts and Susan Jackson executive produced. Celluloid Nightmares has all foreign rights.

Jackson, of North American sales agent Turtles Crossing, negotiated the sale with Jeff Deutchman, director of acquisitions and productions for Sundance Selects/IFC Films.
