EXCLUSIVE: Imagina International Sales is working with Zeta Cinema and Antena 3 Films on the intimate drama about family relations directed by Marcelo Piñeyro (The Method).
Mario Casas (I Want You), Victoria Abril and Sergi López star in this film that will begin shooting early 2013. The story explores the wound of some characters with family ties and the new opportunities that new generations bring.
Piñeyro has said that it will be “a feelgood movie” and will connect with audiences who enjoyed titles as Untouchables or The Descendants.
Imagina has recently worked with Zeta Cinema and Antena 3 Films on I Want You, a teenage drama by Fernando González Molina.
That film grossed $15.3m in Spain and was a hit in Russia (Carmen Films), Chile (BF Distribution) or Mexico (Quality Films). It will open soon in Argentina, Poland or Korea.
