BBC-HBO drama sells to Australia, while The Killing saw wide sales

Parade’s End, the anticipated co-production between BBC, HBO and Mammoth Screen, will premier to Australian audiences on the Nine Network in 2013 following a deal with BBC Worldwide Australia.

Adapted for television by Sir Tom Stoppard, Parade’s End stars Benedict Cumberbatch [pictured], Rebecca Hall, Anne-Marie Duff, Australian actress Adelaide Clemens and Rupert Everett in a sweeping love story set against the English countryside around the time of the first world war.

In other news, ZDF has sold either one or two series of its acclaimed Danish crime-drama The Killing to BBC and SBS Australia, DirecTV (Latin America), AXN (Spain), Channel 1 (Russia), KLB (France), Ale Kino/Canal+ (Poland), Mega Channel (Greece, Cyprus) and Lumière (Benelux).
