IFC has picked up North American rights to Olivier Assayas’ film.
Germany’s NFP also acquired jury member Assayas’ project which is set to start shooting at the end of June in France, Italy and the UK.
The story is set in the 70s and follows a young high school student in Paris who’s torn between his artistic ambitions and the politics of the times.
Casting was handled by auditioning high school graduates throughout Paris.
IFC also released Assayas’ Summer Hours in the US.
